♥ HEARTBEATS . }} that are slowly coming to a stop[ - with every confused thought of the heart - ] Kiore winced at the memory of the shuriken hitting the infant, remembering the sound of it; the sudden stop of it's wailing. However, still paying attention, what the male was telling her now horrified her more then the meaningless death of that child. And she was in it, even if on knee deep... she was in countless numbers of dead peoples blood. It quite frankly made her sick, and she wasn't so sure that she would be able to control the welling need to sprint behind the bushes and puke out the contents of her stomach. And then run - run far away from him. Oh, God... what was she getting into? What had she gotten herself into? Clutching her stomach, Kiore continuously swallowed to keep the bile in her throat down. Not daring to look at Cloud; not wanting to. You've made a decision, her alter ego snickered, taunting her - mocking her. Now you have to live with it. Still, though - this would never leave her. None of this would ever leave her. Kiore would pretend to forget it, and push it away, but it would always be there.. haunting her. Because, in a sense, she had always been... pure, like that... she'd always been.. kind, in her own way.
"You're cute when you're made, Kio," Renji remarked, with a cxcky grin on his face that she would just love to wipe off. But she couldn't get a good hit in - though there weren't a lack of them. She just hadn't managed to uppercut his jaw and effectively break it. She was faster then him... but he had better hearing and smell. Kiore huffed at the memory of his earlier comment, "you have a distinct smell, ya'know. It's easy to distinguish." Kiore's fist connected with his lower abdomen. "What are you implying?" she glared at him, and blocked a kunai with a trap shuriken. He expected it, and blocked the second shuriken that had been shadowed by the one that blocked his kunai. "Just saying... you're smell, I know it," oh yeah - that made a lot of sense, Kiore rolled her eyes. And caught by surprise, he gave a chakra induced kick at her stomach and sent her back a few meters. "My smell?" she perked her brow, recovering quickly. "Yeah," he grinned, turning around just in time to block a kick from Kiore, "you smell like you, with a faint hint of chocolate." Kiore sputtered and gave a look of absolute horror, that Renji burst out laughing because of it, and gave Kiore enough time to swipe her leg around at his legs in a fluid motion, he was caught off surprise for a moment, before Kiore's fist connected with his jaw.
Sitting under a shady tree, blocking out the unforgiving heated glare of the sun, Kiore and Renji sat back to back; eating the packed lunch that Renji's mother had ordered them to take. Because eating tempura all of the time was not the diet of a shinobi. "Hey," Renji piped up all of a sudden, turning around so that his chin was resting on her shoulder. Kiore muttered something that sounded like an annoyed 'what?' through a mouthful of rice. "Do you taste like chocolate?" She elbowed him in the stomach and rolled her eyes.. "God..." Kiore moaned, tartly crossing her arms over her chest with a dignified 'hmmph'. "You're such a pervert." Renji murmured something that she chose not to hear, with that arrogant, cxcky smirk; and the two went back to eating. Hours later, and many more sparring sessions, Kiore and Renji were getting ready to leave. "Oh my," Kiore squeaked, halting abruptly when she caught sight of an injured squirrel. "It must have gotten bitten..." Renji muttered, taking out a kunai, before Kiore's hand stopped his. "Are you kidding?" she glared, and gathered green chakra into her hands, going about healing the animal. "You never did that for me, back in Stone," Renji muttered, leaning against a nearby tree as he waited. "It was an f'ing scratch, Renji, not a life threatening 'oh-my-god-I'm-going-to-die' wound like Zaraki-sensei had," Kiore argued. Renji chuckled and muttered something she didn't hear, and watched as she let the squirrel go - it, scattering up the tree, probably only to get eaten.
"You're such an angel," he smirked, slinging an arm around her shoulders. As much of a pick-up-line that it sounded like, Kiore heard more underneath it, and smiled, not bothering to push him away - she was just too d**n tired. "You smell," she screwed up her nose. "You do, too."
Through her whole 'ordeal' of remembering that certain memory - something light, and happy, to help her through just this much, at least - Kiore hadn't changed outwardly to show any sign that she hadn't been paying close attention. Though she picked up his words about her being his partner, and him now being her sensei. The latter had her inwardly shuddering... because Zaraki was suppose to be her sensei. Change. "Yeah..." she murmured, and scrunched up her nose when the water washed over her. The blood water. Shuddering, Kiore sat down properly in the water and pouted. "Our clothes are going to be soaked, after this," what else was she suppose to say, in the situation? As much as she would rather not, she knew that speaking with the man and attempting to get to know him - to get along with him, in a messed up way - was her best chance at making it through this with most of her sanity still intact. Drawing her knees up her her chest and wrapping her arms around her legs, Kiore blocked off all feeling in her body and focused on just keeping it together.
ooc;; whooo. for blatantly obvious crap called 'post-filler-history' that i abuse too much. >.> oh, and for Renji and his not-so-good-at-coming-onto-Kiore moments. =3

Cloud smiled calmly. "Not all the members are like me, they each have ambition and a soul. Its not hard to control people by such means. Then again you had no choice but to follow me. Truth be told If you had denied coming i would have simply killed you. No use living someone extra alive who is anti-akatsuki."
Cloud said coldly as the blood changed back into cold water. the water swept over the two akatsuki members washing away the blood. "Kiore, why exactly do you think I picked you? Your strength? Your ambition. Countless shinobi are stronger then you, and countless of them have ambition. How many of them can give their soul for it? Very very few. You are like me."
Cloud said bluntly. His emotionless voice remained void and dark. He looked at her with his dark deep eyes. He looked at her coldly, and with no hint of feeling. He looked at the sky above as birds flew by. The sun would be down any second now... and he would teach her how to kill.

Sitting in the cool water, Kiore listened to the mans words and 'tch'ed, narrowing her eyes as she stared at her reflection in the water, not too interested in what he was saying at the moment... because it was everything she knew, already. She knew that he was more powerful then her. She knew that if she had made a different choice, before, then she would be dead. She knew... she knew what she knew. And the choices she made because of it. And she wasn't going to regret it, she was too stubborn for that, anyhow. She was always too stubborn, in most cases. She was stubborn when it came down to winning. She was stubborn when it came down to having to go out grocery shopping. She was stubborn when it came down to her limits. She always had exceeded them - resulting in her being in hospital, grudgingly, for week.
"Oh jeeze, thanks," she muttered dryly, forgetting for a moment who she was speaking to - and all that same, not really caring, too - once she heard his next words. Countless shinobi? That was bound to make her smile and nod. She was - Kajaal and Kisuke backed this up - just as strong as a jounin, and at that, stronger then the captain of the first squad in the Urahara Clan. She had proven that earlier that month. Because no one, absolutely no one, insults her brother. And overall, that was saying a lot about her strength. She smiled at the memory, and forced herself to pay attention to her new 'Sensei' - she was never going to get used to that fact - with a blank look. "I like my soul," she murmured, "I like my emotions," she glared at a scar on her knee, "I don't want to be another, typical; 'I have no soul, I have no emotions, I'm dead inside, you can't kill me - angst, angst, angst." She fixed her stare on Cloud, "do I have a choice about it, though?"
Because if she did - which, oh, she hope she did - Kiore would rather keep them. Because emotions were what made her. They created her character and made her human, and she would rather that then power. She didn't want to be another Itachi Uchiha, gosh - if she ever met the man, she wasn't sure if she would laugh or ask him, 'were you abused as a child, Uchiha-san?' - because how could a he have become so utterly fxcked up in the head? Though, if she did meet him in person, Kiore doubted she would be anywhere near him. Too nervous that she would make one of her comments that sometimes she just couldn't have control over, and say something bad.

Cloud looked at her blankly. "You always have a choice regardless of the decision. However I lied in a way. Its impossible to take your soul away. Its merely bound inside of you. Your emotions fog your judgment and you wind up dead. Many shinobi understand this. However to keep your soul can be a strength at times. I used to have that strength, never the less it is a curse as well. To lose your soul releases you of the pain." Cloud said coldly.
He turned his head a shinobi in a black robe was standing there. It was not a akatsuki robe but the man wore a akatsuki cloud on his sholder. It was a sign this man was a associate of the akatsuki.
"Cloud-dono, I brought you information regarding the shinobi Sasuke. He is near the village of leaf as we speak. Why if I may ask did you wish for me to spy on sasuke?" The man spoke.
"It was nesscary, Remember madaras goals. If sasuke and itachi fight that will surly hurt madaras plans will it not?" Cloud said coldly.
The man spoke to cloud once again, he was tempting cloud.
"Who is that girl with you?" The man asked.
"She is another person who has potential." Cloud replied his voice darker now.
"A bijuu?" The man asked.
Cloud said nothing. The man repeated him self but before he could finish the sentence Cloud sliced his head from h is body. A stream of blood gushed up into the air from the decapitated man. Cloud had not moved a inch rather then his arm. His sword did not have the mans blood on it. However trees all around did. This was because of clouds speed. His blade had cut the air creating friction in the air. That friction literly ripped the mans head off.
Cloud looked to the girl. "I hate rudeness. Few people survive being rude to me." Cloud said coldly. His eyes hit hers.
"I would advise you against it. Unless of course you have a wish to see what hell feels like." Cloud spoke calmly. This was not a threat to him. It was merely a fact.

A gentle wind blew by the two, carrying some black sand along with it, the black sand was a strange sign, or at least to people who doesn't know about the black sand. Cloud should know what this black sand is. A female figure stood near to the two, standing on one of the tree branches nearby. The female's face is shadowed by the straw hat placed on. Her raven bangs poked out underneath the straw hat. The twinkleing noises were made was the beads dangled from the hat. The girl's body frame is medium for a 15 year old girl, her black clothings fluttered as a strong wind blew by. Her cloak signifies that this member is within the Akatsuki.
A slight pale small hand flew up to the edge of the hat, and slowly pulled it off, revealing her soft chocolate colored eyes, her nose slightly pointed out, her cheeks still had some baby fat, but not to much to be very noticed. This girl looked very young, after all she's 15 year old. It was clear that she is powerful too, she is actucally a S-ranked missing nin of Suna. And not many people knew her dark secert.
Her dark secert is she actuclly does have a demon sealed inside of her, granting her a mysterious power, the one-of-a-kind power. Possibly, she might be the only one with this kind of power. At last the female looked up at the couple, "Hello Cloud-sama..." said the girl. Her voice was cold, it was supriseing to hear that a young girl speaking in a cold tone with such a impassive face.

♥ HEARTBEATS . }} that are slowly coming to a stop[ - with every confused thought of the heart - ] Kiore seemed to be withdrawing deeper into herself, blocking herself from the world - yet in a way, not. For she was still very aware of the atmosphere around her. Mulling over what had told her, about the 'problems' of emotions, Kiore sighed - frustrated with herself for numerous reasons all piled upon each other. She liked who she was now... why give that up for strength? Why lose her soul to find power? She had never even wanted power, she had never wanted to be where she was. She was just a rebellious, albeit different girl that was lost somewhere in herself, among all of the muddled up thoughts and criticism. Criticism from her Clan, and even other shinobi in Konoha. 'Who would have thought that the Urahara Clan could produce... her?' she remembered hearing, when she was ten. Walking home from the academy with a bright smile on her face as she hummed a tune under her breath. It had all disappeared though, once she had heard that. Kiore inwardly chuckled at the memory.
Kiore felt the presence of the other shinobi, rather then seeing it. Her back was faced to him, and she couldn't be bothered to stand up and introduce herself, besides that - she doubted it was necessary. Kiore focused more on her decision, rather then what Cloud and the male were talking about. Though she did unconciously pick up the name of the Uchiha brat that had abandoned the village, and his teammates, for power. Just like she was doing, now. But what was her motive? Sasuke had been seeking for power from the legendary Sannin, Orochimaru; to kill his brother, Itachi Uchiha. What about Kiore? Her motive... she recalled Cloud's earlier words, about her responsibility to protect her special people. Kiore sighed, and realized that yes, protecting them was her motive. Typical, wasn't it? She smirked, and continued to mull over her decision.
She had to chose. And the only option that was logical, the only option that offered her the power to protect her loved ones... was what Cloud wanted her to do. Kiore mentally groaned and clutched her head, pulling at her head as she tried to get the headache that was slowly driving her up the wall, to subside. Through her inner struggle, she did manage to notice the disappearance of the stranger's presence. She frowned at the thought of the Akatsuki followers... being so easily disposed of. She refrained from thinking about it, and instead closed her eyes to finalize the answers to her questions; not at all liking how the outcome was, but then again, she didn't really have a choice. She had chosen, before she left the village, that she was just protecting her family by betraying the village. And now was no different. She needed power to protect them - and that was that. Nothing more, nothing less. It was done.
Kiore smiled shakily, looking at her reflection in the water, "if I didn't have people to protect... I don't think I would mind..." I don't think I would mind going to Hell. Kiore looked up to hold his gaze for the first time since he had tried to manipulate her back in the village; hers seemed more lifeless now, though, less caught up with the inner fire - and fear. Now they seemed dull, with the expected sadness. Kiore looked away and back at her reflection, when she felt the presence of yet another shinobi enter the scene. Saying a formal greeting to Cloud. Kiore mentally scoffed and couldn't help but think, 'what is this a party?'. Smirking, she picked up a pebble from the floor of the lake and dropped it in her reflection. "Goodbye... Kio-chan."

Cloud looked to ace. "I didnt ask for your company ace. However I think i understand why you came though, so i will not take your life." Cloud spoke coldly. He looked to kiore.
"Honestly I could care less about you or your family kiore, I care for no one. I care for nothing, except power. I used to not be this way, I used to feel. My emotion blinded me, my love destroyed me. It made me feel pain worse then hell. Do you understand kiore. Such is the power of our members. If you ever care for one of us... youll regret it. To care for anyone at all is folly. It is a true mistake to love. Thats why you are here though right? Love? The love of your clan? Or is it because you are selfish. Is it because you merely love yourself."
Cloud stood up the water poured from him. He disappeared and appeared 8 inchs from ace. "Your here because she is what you could have been. She is more fortunate then you. She had a family. She was loved... and you were the offspring of a family that wished you to be destroyed. A mere nothing. I understand your feelings in this matter though I do not feel I have memories of feeling. I am correct arent I? You will deny this but it is true ace. Before you joined us and even now, you longed for love from your family. You longed for someone to care to even know you existed. Yet... No one did. No one ever will. Kiore is diffrent."
Cloud peered over to kiore. "Kiore is loved. She has someone, She has family that as we speak are worried over her. That is her nindo to protect those that care about her at all. Had she not come they would have been killed by daimon. I doubt he will kill them with them under my protection." Cloud spoke to ace coldly.

Ace's face did not fliched as Cloud metion the word 'love'. Hah. Love meant nothing to Ace, ever since she was little, love was a failure to her, it might have existed to Ace before her brother discovered her demon. But now, love is gone, possibly forever. But secertly, inside of her, she did actucally long for someone to understand her at least. But that was not Ace's main goal at least, her goal was to do whatever it's needed to be done for the akatsuki.
Her expressionless face laid on Cloud, so this young was going to be part of the akatsuki? It seemed likely, or Cloud would've killed her already. Ace's nimble fingers slowly let go of the straw hat, floating to the ground gently, like a it was a delicate china doll being placed in a dress carefully. Ace realized that this girl was different from Ace herself. At first, she was suprised to see Cloud recirting a girl for Akatsuki, but it no longer had a effect on her.

♥ HEARTBEATS . }} that are slowly coming to a stop[ - with every confused thought of the heart - ] Kiore stood, eyebrow raised as she listened to Cloud's sudden outburst of words. Crossing her arms over her chest, she replied, "you spoke of caring about my family, or myself; like you expected me to," she scoffed, "if love makes you human, if it lets you experience life for one moment - however utterly fleeting it might be, I would take it... because at least I did something worthwhile... at least I lived."
Eyes narrowed, she continued, "if I was selfish, Sensei, I would not be here. For if I loved myself, and put my well being over Nii-sama, my team or my Uncle... I would have fought you, and evidently died." This had been on her mind, since they had came to the clearing.
"The fact that I'm here - ready to give everything that I am, away; shows that my means are only to protect them. I could care less about whether or not you look down upon that, I would rather feel the wrath of Hell - then to have not feel the emotions that we are born with, to not feel love for another person." She knew all too well that she was speaking out of line, that this could very well give him 'reason' to kill her right then and there... but at that moment... she really couldn't care. Because everything was falling apart - and she wasn't sure she could hold it together.
Kiore listened indifferently, as he spoke to the new comer - a female ninja. Kiore was fortunate, in the fact that even though her whole Clan loathed her; she still had her brother, uncle, aunt, her team and Zaraki and his family there for her. They were always there for her, and they understood. Through the good times and the bad times. They probably wouldn't want her to do this - to through alway her life, for them. But she would, she had to. She owed it to them. And this man - no matter how much she was starting to despise him, no matter how much she wanted to beat some sense into him - was her only way to do that. To protect them... it was all she could do, in the end, to just accept it. And there were no regrets - heck, there probably wasn't anything, right now. But she couldn't help but think that somewhere inside her - today... and the events that happened... something snapped.
ooc;; -snickers- i wonder if Kiore's even going to make it alive to her first training session with Cloud-sensei... such a stubborn willed, snarly girl. -tches and shakes head- x]

A cold smile crossed clouds lips. He looked to her. "You do not understand kiore-chan. I do look down upon emotions. Ive been in your predicament. Let us not talk of the matter any more. For If you speak against me again I may have to cut out that reason, be it your tongue. If you look at me wrong, I may have to cut out that reason, be it your eyes... Keep in mind the reason I chose you. I saw the simularitys between us. You are like me, you can not change that. I have seen your soul, I have lived your life. I have felt the pain you have felt, and more. Tomrrow we will began your training, and your involvement in the akatsuki will began." Cloud looked to ace.
"Your quite for some reason ace, I did not mean to offend you." Cloud said coldly.
A shinobi with a akatsuki robe and a straw hat appeared. Syron looked to cloud, then to ace, then to the new girl. She was nearly his age. Syrons blade hung from his hip, his blue hair shadowed his eyes. "Cloud, its interesting to see you talking to a innocent girl, as if she were one of us. You act as if she is one of us. Your not letting in pathetic girls who have not seen or felt the pain we have are you?"
Syron spoke his voice cold. He showed no respect for the akatsuki leader. Cloud looked at him with his mangeyko sharengun.
"You dare to defy me syron?" Cloud said coldly.
"It would not be wise cloud." Syron said coldly his eyes hitting clouds chest.
Cloud laughed coldly. "You are quite lucky syron, quite lucky I have a use for your pathetic ass."
Syron said nothing, he stood there before cloud uchiha. Cloud drew his blade and disappeared. Instantly syron had blocked clouds blade. The two shinobi withdrew. Syron disappeared and reappeared against a tree, he rested against it.
"Interesting, the leader wont kill me. He cant kill me" He said softly so low that few shinobi could hear what he muttered. Cloud heard him but acted as if he had not.
