The rain was coming down slightly, a nice gray, dark day. The lingering figure in the feilds hated it, the rainfall in the morning. Reminded him of being a child, cold and wet in the steets in Kumogakure. Mayakashi frowned, his wings streached over his head to keep the water off him. looking at the ground, the grass beaded with dew and rain, Mayakashi looked over at the 'hell' side.
the soil was deplenished of water most of the time, dry and cracked but the water seeped into the earth slowly. 'It's not used to water... if there is anymore of it, That side will Flood' he thought to himself, his wings giving a good shake to free the tops of them from water. his black hair was shiney from the water, his longer hair in a ponytain behind him. his eyes swiped over the area in front of him before he looked up at the sky through a space his wings made. "Hmm... I need to visit a village soon... get some supplies" he mumbled to himself and he sat on a rock, waiting for the rain to cease

Akira stood on the very edge of the gorge, watching the rain and the mist at the bottom. She was strangly attracted to this place with not proper reason, as it were. She stood under the rain. It had been raining last time she was here, watching the dead shinobi dance...Well, Sasuke was mistaken. They hadn't wanted her dead. They'd only instilled something in her-Dancing? No way. Why would they do that? She shook her head. For all her distantly Naran technique, she was at a loss. Or maybe Sasuke was right. But why sould I believe him? As she moved away, Akira's eyes fell across someone else in contemplation. She was curious now; was he a missing-nin? Only those who were had the guts enough to come here (in a regular scenario), so why was this sprout here?

The sky had now sign of loosening up, well... not atleast for an half hour or 45 minutes. Mayakashi frowned, growling in the rain before looking back down. Ant scurried around in terror, their chemical scented path to the nest washed away in the rain. They plants around him were already lush and green without the rain, so how would they look after it? Reaching down, He plucked rather long peice of grass and set it in between his teeth. he chewwed on it softly before the sudden stingy painof the ants took his attention. Frowning, he stood up and shook his leg angraily, switching to the other one before walking off a short ways. 'Da.mn Ants...' he thought to himself as he rubbed the clinging ones off. Normally, he wouldn't stop in such a place, not stopping till he got near a village or at least a patch of rather large trees, but the rain forced him to a stand still. Travel in the rain, for him, was like driving through a fog. his vision would be blurred from the water, his wings would grow too heavy from the rain and it would soon become too difficult to go further until it passed. he frowned and looked around before shrugging. he couldn't shrug off the feeling of being watched, the feeling of eyes boring into you. 'Probably some stupid animal'

Akira had sat down, crossing her legs. She hadn't worn her velvet purple yukata today; instead, she exchanged it for her original half-kimono shirt and knee length leggings. I really need something else to wear, she grumbled in her head as she watched the other personage. He seemed disturbed, and she could guess that it was by her staring at him. Of course, he couldn't put his finger on it, which was good. She wanted to remain anonymous. Perhaps she would go through her old front of mute-ness, just for the heck of it. She felt like torturing someone today.

The rain loosened up a bit, sprikling water replacing the large rain drops. Grinning to himself, Mayakashi rose his wings up and gave them one quick flap, freeing them of almost all of the moisture from the rain. her folded up his wings, adjusting them so they fit under his cloak and looked around the area once more. he'd take off soon, just needed the rain to stop fully and the sun to come out. his eyes stopped at a figure in the distance, or what could be a figure since you could never fully trust your eyes. reaching up and rubbing his face quickly, Mayakashi looked back down at the shape, concentrating on it. if it was someone, it'd move eventually, if not... well then he was staring at nothing.

She smirked. The stranger had stood up, and appeared to be facing her way. So, with deliberation, she too stood up. She knew he wanted to confirm there being someone else with him, so she granted his wish. But then she stood still, her eyes half closed but riveted on the character.

When the figure moved, Mayakashi let a smirk spread on his features. he looked away before twitching slightly, his arm shooting up and his nail draging across the side on his neck. sighing, Mayakashi looked up as the rain stopped and smiled to himself, his wings spreading out for the sun to dry them as the clouds gradually dispersed slowly. his silver eyes moved back to the figure in the distance and watched it closely.

I can sit here all day if I want, Akira thought, staring with icy curiousity at the distant form. She yawned, immediately contradicting her statement. She hadn't slept last night, as she had felt like the hottest day of summer. But it didn't matter now. She wanted to shout, but she kept her tongue. Today she was the quiet, mute she'd been when she'd first arrived back at Konoha almost ten years ago. But she smiled anyway.
